Instructions for adding devices to the Smart Reef 360 app
With this instruction you will learn the steps and how to go through them to add a Reef Factory device to the Smart Reef 360 app.
1.) In the main panel (settings), select the fish icon ‘Aquariums’ at the bottom of the screen.
2.) In the navigation bar on the four icons, select ‘Devices’
Clicking the square box with the plus sign on the screen starts adding the device.
PS:
If you do not have any other previously added devices in the list, a message will appear on your screen stating that you do not have any devices yet.
3.) In this step you will be asked to enter the serial number of your device manually or scan it as a QR code
4.) The serial number can be found on the packaging and also directly on the housing of the device.
5.) After entering the serial number, click the ‘Next’ button.
6.) In the next step, you enter the name of the device in the upper selection field. If you have entered the serial number correctly, the application will complete it here itself.
In the second selection field below, you indicate the place of purchase.
7.) Search and select the name of the shop where you bought the device. Shops are grouped by the country in which they are located.
8.) Once you have completed this information, click ‘Next’ The application will check that you are connected correctly to the network.
9.) In the next step, the application will ask you to select the Wi-Fi network with which to connect your device. Please note that the signal quality should be as good as possible and that the supported network must have a frequency of 2.4 GHz.
10.) Select the 2.4 GHz network you wish to use.
11.) Enter the password for the selected network (if it is password-protected).
You can set the application to remember your password for the future.
Then click on the ‘Next’ button.
12.) A notification appears that the app is connected to the device.
13.) The penultimate step shows that the selected Wi-Fi network has been correctly connected and the settings have been downloaded from the device.
14.) The final step is a notification that the device has been successfully connected.

After this step, you can now start configuring the device.
